Sheboygan Teen Book Festival

It is with great sadness that we announce that Sheboygan County Reads will not be sponsoring future Sheboygan Children and Teen’s Book Festivals. We first cancelled due to Covid 19 in 2020, but it seems clear that after several years, the Covid virus continues to change and spread, impacting people and events across the world. This has made it difficult to fundraise and plan for future events. We have decided that these difficulties are out of our control and erring on the side of caution, we will not be hosting any future festivals.

We would like to thank all of the many wonderful partners, sponsors, authors and illustrators, volunteers and participants who made our 10 years of festivals so enjoyable. We hope the festival has made a positive literacy impact in our local school students and on all of the young participants through the years.
Best wishes, and keep on reading!

Festival Testimonials

Loved the experiences in the ARTery, loved the presentations about the craft of writing and publishing. Gorgeous venues and well-done festival. Well-staffed, very nice venues. Will come again next year from Minnesota – well worth it.
It was great to see children and adults alike interacting with the authors and illustrators.
I especially like how easily accessible it is and the quality of the authors.
